Seabren Developments concludes sale of twelve 3-bedroom homes to Acorn Housing
Wednesday 15 July 2020 – Seabren Developments is pleased to announce the sale of twelve 3-bedroom homes at its completed development at Cromwellsfort Court in Dublin 12 to Acorn Housing, a registered charity. Cromwellsfort Court is located off Cromwellsfort Road in Dublin 12 and comprises spacious A3-energy rated homes featuring large contemporary kitchens, bright generous bathrooms and excellent storage throughout.
Commenting, Seabren Developments Director, Michael Moran, said:
“Cromwellsfort Court is one of a number of Seabren developments that will provide much needed social housing within the Dublin City Council area. The quality of design, construction and finish of these schemes meet the exacting standards that Seabren ensures with all our developments. Our objective is to build homes that people will love and that combine modern living technology with contemporary design that sits comfortably with, and complements, the existing housing stock, whether this averages 60 or 160 years old.”
“We are particularly pleased that we employed a highly efficient development process to provide these new homes within a short timeframe. On site activity at Cromwellsfort Court commenced in July 2019 and was completed, including all demolition, service connections and construction, and its ultimate sale to Acorn Housing, within 12 months. This has resulted from a high level of focus and cooperation between Seabren, our design team, Dublin City Council, utility providers and Acorn Housing. We will continue to develop this approach in the delivery of current and future Seabren developments.”
Seabren Developments has completed seven residential schemes within the inner south and west Dublin suburbs including two semi-detached homes at Ontario Court in Ranelagh, nine town houses at Aideen Place in Rathgar, two large 4-bed homes at St. Teresa’s Road at Crumlin Village, a split-level period home at 23 Portabello on the Grand Canal, and four 3-bed semi-detached homes at 63 Terenure Road North.
Its current developments include a luxury development of two 5-bedroom homes at 37 Highfield Road in Rathgar and a new street of twenty 3 and 4-bedroom homes at Annesley Gardens in Ranelagh.
Michael Moran added:
“We have tended to specialise in locating suitable infill sites and repurposing these for new residential developments. These locations are generally in the established inner suburbs with all amenities, services and transport options close by.
We are excited to have acquired the former Europa Motors site in Blackrock Village and a further site in Crumlin Village where we are finalising plans to bring quality housing to both locations in the short term.”
